Government Sericulture Farm Senchowa

This is a sericulture farm under the government of assam. Here specially mulberry silkworm beacame reared. Muga, Eri also reared experimentally.

Visited this Sericulture Farm on 22May and had a great experience. The guides gave us very valuable information about the mulberry and eri cocoons and how it is reared.

There are various types of tree in there which are used in sericulture..the preservation of every stage of silkworm and culture of silkworm are done here...
